DESCRIPTION:
Rodney Brace, North Bridgewater, Mass., shelf clock with a weight driven Terry-style 30 hour time and strike and alarm wooden works movement in a triple decker pilaster and cornice top mahogany veneered case.
CONDITION:
The large mahogany veneered case with maple accents on the flat pilasters in very nice condition in an old and possibly original finish. The feet show little wear but they are the same type as found on other Brace cases. The upper door glass is original. The lower door mirror is a later replacement. The original painted dial is in good condition with some age darkening and some horizontal losses. The hands are original.
